Multiplier event for the presentation of EducAGE results
On April 17 and 18, 2024, a multiplier event was held at the facilities of the Fundación Centro de Cirugía de Mínima Invasión Jesús Usón de Cáceres (Spain), open to the general public, but especially addressed to informal caregivers, with the objective of informing about the EducAGE project and disseminating its results to the target audience.
35 people belonging to the group of informal caregivers have attended and have been explained the new m-learning application, the blended learning course and the digital white book that have been developed during the implementation of the project, with emphasis on the final results, especially on the m-learning application developed by CCMIJU. The design process and the final result developed were presented in detail. According to the program of the event, the attendees were able to enjoy the presentation of the CCMIJU and the research projects it develops, focusing on EducAGE.
The proposal developed, with reference no. 2021-1-PT01-KA220-ADU-000028254, has been co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program with the support of the European Commission and has promoted healthy aging by presenting strategies for caregivers, aiming to slow down the functional decline, loss of quality of life and chronic diseases of the elderly.
The Instituto Politécnico da Guarda as leader of the Consortium and the participating institutions (the Laboratorio Colaborativo Montanhas de Investigação-Portugal, the Centro de Cirugía de Mínima Invasión Jesús Úson-Spain, the Faculty of Medicine of Semmelweis Egyetem University-Hungary and the Faculties of Medicine of Univerzita Karlova and Informatics and Management of Univerzita Hradec Králové- Czech Republic) have contributed with their expertise to the success of EducAGE and to achieving all the milestones and objectives foreseen in the proposal, in order to strengthen the role of caregivers as educators in healthy aging and motivate them to promote beneficial strategies for the elderly community.
