The Jesús Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre, (JUMISC), in Cáceres, is an institution dedicated to the training and research of minimally invasive surgical techniques.

One of the key objectives of JUMISC is to stimulate the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, employing a highly skilled personnel as well as the appropriate facilities to develop their research team´s projects.
This service aims to provide the researchers with the material and human resources required to develop projects in the field of new medical-surgical technologies, working and advising at different stages of investigation.
Next-generation operating rooms are available within the JUMISC, as well as a "animal housing" service that meets all the needs and care required for studies in experimental models in both acute and chronic phases, and the possibility of working with models with different diseases.
