THE MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY CENTRE

The Jesús Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre, (JUMISC), in Cáceres, is an institution dedicated to the training and research of minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Training

The JUMISC organises an extensive program of education and training in various disciplines for resident medical and surgical doctors, nurses, veterinarians, doctors and surgeons and other health professionals

Applied research

The research that takes place in the JUMISC is aimed at carrying out studies, comparing minimally invasive surgical procedures with traditional surgical techniques, with a special emphasis on applied research

Location and characteristics

 

The Residence JUMISC constructed as a Residential Complex consists of a building that has parking. The area is landscaped, emphasising the tranquility the Centre for Minimal Invasive Surgery offers, while also being located very close to the urban centre of the city of Caceres.

 

The building is distributed on two floors. The first floor comprises a room – designed as a dining room also for breakfast, and an apartment with two single rooms, a double room with en suite bathroom, a bathroom and a living / dining room. The second floor consists of a suite and 14 double rooms with full bathroom, television and terrace.

Rules of use:

 

The CCMI offers the possibility of residency accommodation to students, teachers and researchers of the CCMI. The residents must adhere to the rules as specified by the CCIC, with special reference to the following:

  • Non-resident individuals may have access to the rooms accompanied by the resident visited until 24:00 pm.
  • The Residence will be open between 7:30 and 24:00 pm. Entries or exits outside these times must be reported, so that security personnel can be provided.
  • The hours of service for breakfast are between 08:00 and 10:00 hours.
  • There is no room service but service includes cleaning of the room and bathroom.

Prices, reservations and payment details:

 

The price of the service bed and breakfast is:

  • Double room with single occupancy: 70 €.
  • Double room with double use: 90 €.

 

Reservations should be requested to CCMI via (e-mail, fax, mail, etc.), with the Model attached and duly completed (Annex I). The CCMI will report directly to the person concerned of the availability or otherwise of the request as soon as possible.

 

Since the available places are limited, the date of application will be a priority criteria for reservation. The applications will be processed as early as possible. The reservation will be confirmed on payment.

 

The payment of the stay at the CCMI Residence should be credited to the following bank:

A 24 hour notice of cancellation of the booking is required by the customer. Should the cancellation be made within less than 24 hours, the customer is not entitled to claim a refund of the amount.

In the unusual event of not being able to meet the funds for the service and breakfast accommodation previously booked and paid for, the amount paid will be returned, the JUMISC exempt from any liability.
