The JUMISC uses its own training and learning model in minimally invasive surgery, based on training divided into four levels:

• Basic Training: The student must be familiar with the equipment and instruments they use and carry out basic equipment manoeuvres, initially in physical or virtual simulators.
• Pilot Training: The student carries out surgery, according to his/her specialty, in experimental models prepared for this purpose.
• Using new technologies of communication: The use of videoconferencing systems, web platforms, mobile phones, etc.. constitute an ideal tool to complete the student’s training in facilitating access to live surgery, multimedia content or other didactic resources.
• Health Application: The surgeon, a former pupil from the CCMIJN can be relied on for support and tutoring of the group of trainees that are learning.
