The Endoluminal Therapy and Diagnosis Unit
PDF Print E-mail

The Endoluminal Therapy and Diagnosis Unit (ETDU) of JUMISC was founded in 1997, organising training courses for Continuing Medical Education (CME) in experimental, endovascular and endoluminal techniques. Since 1998, on an annual basis, the ETD Unit has organised international hands-on workshops in endoluminal techniques. Similarly, the Unit organises educational activities in neuroradiology, basic training, cardiology, etc.

PROJECTS

The research activity is related to the development and implementing new therapeutic options in cardiovascular events (myocardial infarction, aortic aneurysm, etc.), prostate diseases (prostatic hyperplasia) among others. The endoluminal approach is used in research in cell therapy for cardiovascular diseases currently underway.
